About This

• Do not order in exteme cold or hot weather. Do not let packages sit outside or in mailboxes, they will die. For extreme temperatures (below freezing, above 90°F) please consider delaying your order or requesting a hold for pickup with the post office.
• Orange dalmatian isopods (Porcellio Laevis) are a large (~3/4") isopod that has random orange patterns. Useful as a cleanup crew in terrariums, feed for reptiles, or can be kept as a low maintenance pet! Count includes adults and juveniles, any "babies" will not count towards the quantity shipped.
• Orange dalmatian isopods are active but preferably nocturnal. They are often visible on the surface and move quickly. Will hide under objects and burrow if given enough substrate. Live 12-18 months.
• Keep at room temperature or slightly warmer. Prefer high humidity (60%+) with substrate with a moisture gradient. Mist container 1-2 times a week and keep container ventilated.
• Feed on organic matter, mold, and feces. May be fed to reptiles but please be aware they grow quite large. For supplemental feeding use fresh vegetables or a high protein food such as fish pellets or Repashy foods.
